ANARCHY

A four part story campaign that launched a new ride. A teaser, a found footage mystery, a hijacked broadcast and a trailer built a world around Anarchy and counted down to its debut on August 20th.

FOR AMUSEMENT PARKS & RIDE OPERATORS

DON'T ANNOUNCE A RIDE. RELEASE A STORY.

Most ride launches get a photo and a date. We gave Anarchy a backstory and let it leak out in chapters: a transmission, an interrogation, a broadcast that hijacks a family's movie night, and finally the ride itself. Each piece raised the stakes for the next and every one pointed at the same date, so opening day arrived with an audience already waiting for it. The same playbook works for any park or operator opening a new attraction.

THE TRANSMISSION

PLAY

It starts as found footage: vintage midway film, static, color bars and a countdown leader, broken up by a red symbol that keeps coming back. No logo and no explanation, just the feeling that something is coming.

THE INTERROGATION

PLAY

A man who has been hiding something for six days is questioned under a single light. He swears he told no one. The scene builds to the reveal that it is already finished and nobody can stop it, then hands the screen to the Anarchy title.

THE BROADCAST

PLAY

Family movie night gets interrupted. The TV cuts to a masked figure on a camera feed labeled KISSEL_ANARCHY.001 and the room goes quiet. It ends on the first hard date: Anarchy, August 2026.

THE TRAILER

PLAY

The payoff. Masked figures take the midway at night, the ride lights up through smoke and color, and the title lands with the date the whole series was counting down to: August 20th.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Anarchy was a new ride for Kissel Entertainment, and the goal was to make its opening feel like an event instead of an announcement. We wrote a world for it with its own symbol, its own villain and its own rules, then released it in four parts so each video gave people a reason to wait for the next. Archival footage, a scripted scene, a staged broadcast and a night shoot on the ride itself each tell the same story a different way.
